At Auntie Amie's, we believe that every animal deserves a happy and healthy lifestyle. Located in Tamworth, we provide dog walking and pet sitting services tailored to meet the needs of your furry family members. Auntie Amie's is fully insured through 'Pet Business Insurance' to provide dog walking, pet sitting, dog home boarding and pet transport. We are fully licensed by Tamworth Borough Council and have a clean DBS. We are advocates for positive reinforcement, force and fear free training techniques, co-operative care, walking on harnesses, and animal mental health and wellbeing in general. Established 2022.

Services

Group Walks

Group walks of up to 4 dogs providing exercise, stimulation, and socialisation for your dog.

 

Solo Walks

Solo walks for those dogs that may be too nervous to walk in a group or have other special requirements. 

 

Drop-in Visits

Thirty minutes or one hour drop-in visits for your furry friend, including dogs or small animals (does not include a walk).

Dog Sitting

Day to night care and attention for your pet when you can't be there. Includes walks and around the clock cuddles.

Dog Home Boarding

Your dog will be welcomed into our loving family home and treated as if they're our own.

First Aid

Amie has completed a CPD accredited course in Dog First Aid/Emergency Canine Care. This course was provided by 'Dog First Aid Training', supplying all of the knowledge needed to give potentially life-saving care to your dog.

Pet Care Business Diploma

This Level 3 CPD accredited course introduced Amie to the foundations of setting up her own pet care business. Equipping her with knowledge of the laws and regulations, and basic requirements to running a small business, she is prepared to take on this new chapter.

Canine Behaviour Training Diploma

Amie is currently in the process of completing this Level 3 CPD accredited course on all things dog. The course is a complete overview of the modern dog, covering everything from how they've evolved, canine communication and science-based training techniques.

License

Auntie Amie's is fully licensed by Tamworth Borough Council to provide dog home boarding services.

*as a new business you are limited to 4 stars initially- once you have a license history of 2 years+ then you are eligible for 5 stars.

How it all started...

Here's Amie at 3 years old, walking her Grandad's Staffy... some may say it was destined that Amie would be walking dogs for a living 20 years later!

Amie grew up with 2 Boxer dogs as her brothers, and a number of family pups that she also loved to look after. Later at 12 years old she became a guinea pig pawrent and poured all of her love into looking after her piggies.
